CHANTILLY (May 20, 2014) – Medicomp Systems announced today that Karen Chapman has joined the company as Senior Product Manager. Chapman will lead product planning and execution of Medicomp’s technology through the product lifecycle.

Chapman’s previous position at Northrop Grumman as project manager and training lead related to AHLTA, the Department of Defense’s Electronic Health Record (EHR), has prepared her for her new role at Medicomp.

Dave Lareau, Chief Executive Officer of Medicomp Systems, said, “Karen’s experience in engineering business processes, as well as testing, training and leading the charge for documentation and curriculum development will enable us to offer a deeper level of service to new and existing Medicomp customers. As we continue to expand our products to connect all users, including physicians, nurses and patients, our customers’ need for support and guidance expands as well. We are committed to continuing to grow our team with highly specialized individuals, like Karen Chapman, who has the technical and development lifecycle skills needed to support our valued customers.”

Chapman’s main interest lies in listening to and understanding the developers’ and users’ challenges and transforming that feedback into the product development lifecycle to optimize design and use of Medicomp’s core products Quippe and the MEDCIN Engine.

Chapman, a certified Project Management Professional, received her B.S., Elementary Education, Education of the Handicapped at the University of Dayton in 1992.
