CHANTILLY (September 10, 2014) – Medicomp Systems announced today that Dr. Jay Anders has joined the company as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Anders will support product development, acting as a representative and voice for the physician and healthcare community that Medicomp’s products serve.

Dr. Anders was most recently the Chief Medical Officer for McKesson Business Performance Services, where he was responsible for supporting development of clinical information systems for the organization. He was also part of MED3OOO’s implementation of Quippe into the InteGreat EHR prior to the McKesson purchase of MED3OOO.

Dr. Anders’ work will focus on the recalibration of the MEDCIN Engine and on Quippe, Medicomp’s easy-to-use documentation tool that integrates into existing EHR systems to provide point-of-care documentation, enhance usability and meet ICD-10-CM and Meaningful Use requirements. Dr. Anders will also lead Medicomp’s clinician advisory board, working closely with doctors and nurses to ensure that all Medicomp products are developed based on user needs and preferences to enhance usability.
